Maquette Design

I had started my maquette design class this quarter, my last quarter, at SCAD and I am really falling in love with traditional modeling. We start out with armatures like this one and build on them with foil first to use less clay. I have been only using sculpy for these projects but I have definitely thought about maybe broadening my clay horizons after I graduate. This has made me look at sculpting in a whole new way from just using zbrush and I have enjoyed every second of it. I will be uploading some of my work to my main page soon to show it off, hopefully it is well received.
